Mark is known worldwide for his handmade Anazasi pottery sherd replicas. He started creating these one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces in 2007 and travels the US showcasing his work in prestigious Native American art shows including the Santa Fe Indian Market, The Heard Art Market and the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian in New York City to name a few.
Mark is a member of the Laguna Pueblo Native American tribe. Born and raised in southern California, Mark moved back home to Laguna Pueblo in 1996 where he has lived ever since.
Mark is married to Shannon Carr-Stevens, a professional photographer from Laguna Pueblo also.
Laguna Pueblo is is where Mark calls home and where all the jewelry is made. Laguna is one of 19 Native American tribes located in central New Mexico and is 45 miles west of Albuquerque, NM right off of Interstate 40.
